Tom Clifton is a national instructor and competitor. He is a registered GSDTA instructor and in 1998 finished second in the world in Division 2 in CWDI. He is considered one of the most versatile instructors in the Northwest with a background in Hustle, Ballroom, Latin, Country Western, Night Club Two Step, East and West Coast Swing.

Tom is very active in the Northwest dance community and holds classes and workshops throughout the Western United States and British Columbia. He has taught at all the major Country Western events in the Northwest including the Fall Fling, Sweetheart Jamboree, Portland Dance Festival, Vancouver Vibrations, and the Pacific Rim Dance Classic for which he was also an event director. He teaches for the Seattle Swing Dance Club and is a director of the Seattle Hustle Club. He has also taught for the Spokane, Portland, Boise, and Sun Valley Swing Clubs as well as the Portland Hustle Club.

Tom started teaching in late 1992 after recovering from a liver transplant. He has a very clear perspective on life and understands what is important. His classes are some of the most enjoyable and informative that you will find. He is also a DJ and enjoys DJing for almost any situation.
